Lindengates Academy (formerly Mayfi's International School), established November 2002, has blossomed from a bourgeoning school catering for the academic needs of day-care and nursery children, to a full-blown school providing competitively challenging first-rate international education for pupils/students between the ages of 3 months and 16 years. Mrs. Mary B. Okon, a mother with a passion for superior but affordable and globally competitive education, started the school in 2002 with four children and a team of four academic and support staff at Abule Estate in Rumuogba, Port Harcourt. As a result of expansion made possible by the quality of education provided, the school moved to a bigger site at No 17 St. Andrews Street, Rumuobiakani, Port Harcourt and in 2008, to the popular Stadium Road (No 50), Port Harcourt.
Lindengates Academy Day Care and Nursery is an ideal early learning centre. We believe in getting it right from the cradle. Pupils undergo a mix of Montessori Education, the British KS1 Curriculum and our home grown curriculum, which is designed to meet the peculiar needs and standards of learning.
A warm welcome to Lindengates Primary, a friendly thriving learning community with distinguished tradition of providing first class education. We run a dual curriculum [Nigerian and British] and are fully registered for Cambridge Checkpoint Examinations.
You are welcome to Lindengates Secondary. The secondary arm of the school was birthed in 2018 when the school admitted the first set of Year 7 students who graduated July 2023. The academic standard of the school is very high as students are motivated to work extra hard to compete favorably across the globe.
